Baltimore police arrested a bank robbery suspect on the Hanover Street bridge Tuesday afternoon.

Officers believe the suspect robbed the Orrstown Bank, located in the 700 block of Washington Blvd., around 12:30 p.m., said department spokeswoman detective Chakia Fennoy.

A bank teller slipped a GPS tracker into the alleged robber’s bag along with a dye pack, a device that explodes when the bag is opened, Fennoy said.

Police used the tracker to follow the man to the bridge, where he was apprehended without incident, Fennoy said.
