Baltimore Police released two surveillance photos Saturday of a pair they said are wanted in two recent thefts of ATMs.
Police said two machines were taken July 19 from The Smoke District shop at 503 W. Cold Spring Lane and the Marylander Apartment Homes at 3501 St. Paul St., both in North Baltimore.
For months, police have been tracking numerous ATM thefts at small businesses, believed to committed by a group or possibly groups who have used various methods to remove the machines, including chaining them up to vehicles.
A police spokesman did not immediately respond Saturday to questions about whether the latest ATM thefts are believed to be connected.
Police said the suspects in the latest incidents were using a newer model, dark colored Toyota Highlander.
Anyone with information on these suspects is asked to call detectives at 410-396-2455 or call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7lockup.
