Baltimore police have arrested a 22-year-old man in connection with a shooting this month.
Kion Henry, of the 5600 block of Pioneer Dr. in Northeast Baltimore, has been charged with first degree attempted murder after Baltimore police say they identified him as a suspect in a Jan. 9 shooting.
In that case, an unidentified 28-year-old man was shot from a car in the 5600 block of Purdue Ave. in Northeast Baltimore at around 3 p.m. A medic took the victim to a hospital for treatment.
The Baltimore Sun earlier reported that the man had been walking in the area when he was shot in the hip. He ran to nearby Cochran Avenue, where someone called for help.
Henry was arrested Thursday morning and taken to Baltimore’s Central Booking and Intake Center. He is waiting to see a court commissioner.
As of Thursday evening, the arrest had not yet appeared in online court records and so an attorney for Henry could not be located.
