Baltimore Police on Thursday announced arrests of two men that were involved in a fatal shooting near the Cold Spring Lane Metro station last year.

Police said Desmond Carter, 33, and Daekwon Walker, 23, are both facing several charges, including first-degree murder, in the killing of Antoine Webster. The men are being held without bail, according to online court records.

Webster, 32, was shot at the Metro Station in the 3300 block of Cold Spring Lane on June 24, 2019. Police said he was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he later died from his injuries.

Carter, of the 3800 block of Elmley Ave., was arrested Nov. 5, 2019. Court records show he is being represented by Marci Tarrant Johnson, an assistant public defender. Johnson declined to comment. Carter is slated for trial April 9.

Nearly two months after Carter’s arrest, police also charged Walker, from the 2500 block of Boarman Ave., in connection to the shooting. Police said Walker was arrested “without incident” in Dundalk on Wednesday. Walker did not have an attorney listed in online court records.
