Baltimore Police are investigating shootings that left one person dead and seven people injured across the city this weekend.
Sunday afternoon, a 39-year-old man was shot and killed in Northwest Baltimore. Just before 1:30 p.m., Baltimore Police officers heard gunfire near the intersection of Northern Parkway and Narcissus Avenue and located him. The man was taken to Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Then, around 4:15 p.m., Southwestern District officers were sent to the 2100 block of block of Wilhelm Street in the Carrollton Ridge neighborhood. Officers found a 35-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound. She was transported to an area hospital.
Two hours later, police said that Northeast District officers were dispatched to the 5500 block of Whitwood Road in the Cedona neighborhood for a shooting. Officers found a 27-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to an area hospital.
The gunfire began this weekend with an incident Friday night, when a 17-year-old boy was shot in the leg near downtown, police said.
Officers arrived around 11:38 p.m. at the 400 block of North Greene Street for a reported shooting and located the teenage boy suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency medical services transported the teen to a local hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.

Police were then dispatched to a shooting around 3:30 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of North Caroline Street in Douglass Homes. Officers found a 27-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. The man, who has not been named, was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Then, officers were called to the 3500 block of Noble Street in Baltimore Highlands around 4:40 p.m. There they found a 38-year-old man and a 34-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds.

The two, neither of whom have been named, were transferred to area hospitals with injuries that are believed to be non-life-threatening.
Police are also investigating an evening shooting on Saturday in the Southern District. Around 5:15 p.m., officers were called to the 300 block of South Monroe Street in Carrollton Ridge. There they found a 29-year-old man who had been shot in the abdomen. The man, who has not been named, was taken to an area hospital.
