Teen shot in Northeast Baltimore, police say

Baltimore police are investigating the shooting of a 14-year-old in Northeast Baltimore Tuesday night, police said.

Officers responded to an unspecified hospital around 8:29 p.m. after the boy checked himself in. He told officers that he had been shot in the area of Harford Road and Carswell Street. A crime scene was located in the 1700 block of Carswell St., police said. The boy was struck in the torso.

Northeast District detectives are investigating this shooting and are asking anyone with information to call (410) 396-2444 or call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7lockup.
