Police arrested a 68-year-old man in connection with a shooting in southwest Baltimore earlier this week.

Jessie Cobb, who lives in the 600 block of Mount Holly Street, was charged with attempted first degree murder, police said. He is suspected of shooting a man in the chest while Cobb was in his own block of Edmondson Village at 12:35 a.m. Wednesday.

Police did not release the identity of the victim but said he was treated and released from an area hospital.

"It appears that it was domestic," Baltimore police spokeswoman Det. Angela Carter-Watson said.

Police also released the name of a man killed early Tuesday in an unsolved shooting in the Parklane neighborhood. At about 2:30 a.m., police responded to a call for shots fired and found Sharod Lloyd, 30, unresponsive with gunshot wounds in the 2500 block of Edgecombe Circle. Police said he lived in the 3600 block of Oakmont Ave.
