Baltimore police searching for suspects they say assaulted, set cat on fire

Police are searching for a group of individuals who police say assaulted a cat then set it on fire in Northeast Baltimore.

The incident occurred at about 4:30 p.m. Dec. 16 in the 5100 block of Harford Road. Animal Control was called to the scene, where the animal was pronounced dead, Baltimore Police said Thursday.

A surveillance camera in the area captured the assault, and police released stills from the video depicting five individuals.
