One dead, three injured in three shootings

A man died after suffering multiple gunshot wounds in Baltimore's Hamillton Hills neighborhood on Friday night, the first of three shootings that left three others injured, city police said.

Detectives found the man in the 6800 block of McClean Blvd. in Northeast Baltimore at 10:05 p.m. after receiving reports of a shooting. The victim was taken to an area hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

On Sunday morning, police identified the victim as Daniels Darnell Turner, 32, of Rosedale.

In a separate incident, a man was found with gunshot wounds Friday night in the 5000 block of Edmonson Ave., according to police.

The victim is in stable condition, police said.

On Saturday, at 7:22 p.m., two men walked into an area hospital after a double shooting. Detectives were still working to determine where the shooting took place. Both men were shot in the upper torso but police said their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
