A 76-year-old Baltimore County man died after being struck by a motorist on Friday afternoon, police said.
Jack Roland Walther was struck by a 1999 Ford truck driven by Valery Nimbo of Silver Spring, police said. Nimbo was traveling south on Dundalk Avenue near Baltimore Avenue when she struck Walther, who was walking along the shoulder at Sweet Clover Drive at 1 p.m., police said. Walther was pronounced dead at a hospital at 5:30 p.m., police said.
The crash remains under investigation.
