The Baltimore office of the FBI is offering a reward for information on a man — dubbed by officials as the "Ball Cap Bandit" — believed to be behind several bank and commercial robberies in the region.
The suspect — described as a black man with a mustache and goatee who uses a ball cap and sunglasses to hide his face — is believed to be responsible for as many as a dozen robberies in the last month, according to the FBI. Authorities said he typically hands the clerk or teller a note demanding money, and that no one has been hurt in the robberies.
Officials said anyone with information is asked to call the Baltimore FBI office at 410-265-8080. The FBI is offering up to $2,500 for information leading to his arrest.
The suspect is believed to have struck at least four banks, two Aldi grocery stores, a Game Stop in the Charles North neighborhood of Baltimore, an Auto Zone, and two Foreman Mills stores.
