Johnny McFadden, who was killed last week in Windsor Hills
(Wylie Funeral Homes)

City police have identified two victims of recent fatal shootings:

Jerry Isaac, 22, was killed Monday evening at a shopping center in the 2800 block of Greenmount Avenue, police said.

A woman told police that people were fighting inside of a store, and when officers arrived they found Isaac, of the 300 block of E. 26th St., suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body. He was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he died about an hour later, police said.

Police have also identified the man found fatally shot on Feb. 9 in the Windsor Hills neighborhood as Johnny Oscar McFadden, 62. McFadden (seen above), of the 700 block of W. Cherry Blossom Way, was found at about 10:45 a.m. in the 2900 block of Haverford Rd., dead from a gunshot wound to the head.

The area of Greenmount Avenue where Isaac was killed has been the scene of numerous shootings, killings, and community marches. Windsor Hills, meanwhile, has seen little crime.

Because many are likely wondering, neither McFadden nor Isaac had a criminal record. McFadden, according to posts on an obituary page at Wylie Funeral Home, was well-known at the Sandtown Winchester senior center and a local VA hospital. Isaac, meanwhile, received probation before judgment for an assault case last year, but his record ends there.

Police have not released possible motives in either case, and have not made arrests. Anyone with information was asked to call 410-396-2100.
