iPhone App leads Annapolis police to stolen car

Officers recovered a stolen vehicle in the 200 block of Janwall St. on Dec. 10 at 1:30 a.m. after the victim activated an iPhone app to track the location of the phone, which was in the vehicle, Annapolis police said.

The vehicle was taken from the 1000 block of Forest Dr. on Dec. 9 around 11 p.m. after it was left running and unoccupied, police said.

After the app was activated by the victim, the vehicle was recovered, police said. The vehicle was parked and unoccupied, but the keys were not located, according to police.
