Baltimore Police Blotter

Four people held up in one incident in Charles Village. Another five held up in a single incident in Fells Point. Five stick-ups in Coldstream-Homestead-Montebello.

Those are among the 93 robberies reported by Baltimore Police during the week ending Oct. 18. That number was 13 percent more than the week before, and 22 percent more than the same time period last year. For the year, robberies are down 9 percent compared to last year, police statistics say.

The incidents were distributed somewhat evenly, with seven of the nine police districts experiencing 10 or more robberies.

The data is posted to OpenBaltimore, but detailed information about the incidents was not available.

Here is a sampling of some of the robberies:

-A home invasion committed at gunpoint was reported Oct. 12 at 12:30 a.m. in the 6600 block of Vincent Lane in Reisterstown Station.

-Someone was robbed in the 1100 block of Light St. in Federal Hill on Oct. 12 at 2:47 a.m.

-A business in the 5700 block of Belair Rd. was robbed at gunpoint on Oct. 12 at 4:55 a.m.

-Someone was robbed at knifepoint in the 200 block of E. University Parkway in Charles Village on Oct. 12 at 2 p.m.

-Someone was robbed at gunpoint in the 400 block of Kenneth Square in Lake Evesham neighborhood on Oct. 12 at 9:30 p.m.

-Someone was robbed at gunpoint in the 500 block of S. Collington Ave. in Canton on Oct. 12 at 9:45 p.m.

-Someone was robbed at gunpoint in the 1600 block of E. 26th St. in Coldstream-Homestead-Montebello on Oct. 12 at 11:20 p.m.

-A gunpoint robbery occurred in the 1400 block of Orleans St. in Dunbar-Broadway on Oct. 13 at 7 p.m.

-Someone was robbed at gunpoint in Charles North at the intersection of North Avenue and Charles Street at 10 a.m.

-A business at Light and Charles Streets downtown was held up at knifepoint on Oct. 13 at 4 p.m.

-A business in the 2000 block of Pennsylvania Ave. was held up at gunpoint on Oct. 13 at 4:25 p.m.

-A home invasion occurred was reported in Hampden, in the 3900 block of Roland Ave., on Oct. 13 at 4:30 p.m.

-Someone was robbed in the 1600 block of Eastern Ave. in Fells Point on Oct. 13 at 6:15 p.m.

-Two people were robbed at gunpoint in the 1600 block of Chilton St. in Coldstream-Homestead-Montebello on Oct. 14 at 11:20 p.m.

-A home invasion was reported in the 500 block of Coventry Rd. in Beechfield on Oct. 14 at noon.

-A home invasion was reported in the 2000 block of Walbrook Ave. in Mondawmin on Oct. 14 at 3:55 p.m.

-Someone was robbed at Morgan State University on Oct. 14 at 6 p.m. No street address is listed and the weapon is described as "other."

-Someone was robbed at gunpoint in the 200 block of N. Eutaw St. downtown on Oct. 15 at 4:35 p.m.

-A business in Millhill was robbed at gunpoint on Oct. 15 at 5:35 p.m. It happened in the 2400 block of Frederick Ave.

-A Morrell Park business in the 3200 block of Washington Blvd. was held up at gunpoint on Oct. 15 at 5 a.m.

-A business in the 3500 block of Frisby St. in Waverly was reported to have been robbed on Oct. 15 at 3:30 p.m.

-A business in the 1300 block of W. Lanvale St. in Harlem Park was robbed at gunpoint on Oct. 15 7:15 p.m.

-A Pimlico Good Neighbors business was robbed at gunpoint, in the 5500 block of Park Heights, on Oct. 15 at 9 p.m.

-A business in Wyman Park, in the 600 block of E. 33rd St., was robbed at gunpoint on Oct. 15 at 11:05 p.m.

-A carjacking at gunpoint was reported in Mount Winans, in the 2600 block of Puget St., on Oct. 16 just before 1 a.m.

-A business in Seton Hill, in the 600 block of N. Eutaw St., was robbed at gunpoint on Oct. 16 at 11:20 a.m.

-Two people were robbed at gunpoint in Mount Vernon in the 800 block of Park Ave. on Oct. 16 at 7:40 p.m.

-Someone was robbed at gunpoint in the 2300 block of Greenmount Ave. in Barclay at 9:50 p.m. at Oct. 16.

-Someone was robbed at gunpoint in the 3200 block of E. Lombard St. in the Patterson Park Neighborhood on Oct. 16 at 10:50 p.m.

-A street robbery was reported in the 7000 block of Park Heights Ave. in Falstaff on Oct. 17 at 5 a.m.

-Someone was robbed at gunpoint in the 900 block of Desoto Rd., which is in the Wilhelm Park neighborhood, at Oct. 17 at 12:12 a.m.

-Someone was robbed at gunpoint in the 1500 block of E. Baltimore St. in Washington Hill, on Oct. 17 at 2:40 p.m.

-Someone was robbed at gunpoint in the 4000 block of Hayward Ave. in the Woodmere neighborhood on Oct. 17 at 3:52 p.m.

-A Fells Point business was robbed at gunpoint, in the 400 block of S. Broadway, on Oct. 17 at 9:55 p.m.

-Five people were held up in a single incident in Fells Point. It happened in the 300 block of S. Broadway on Oct. 18 at 2 a.m. The record says no weapon was used.

-A business in Curtis Bay was robbed on Oct. 18 at 9 a.m. The location was in the 4600 block of Pennington Ave.

-A carjacking was reported in Belair-Edison, in the 4100 block of Chesterfield Ave., on Oct. 18 at 5 p.m.

-Four people were held up in Charles Village, in the 2800 block of St. Paul St. It happened at about 10 p.m. on Oct. 18. According to the Charles Village crime newsletter, the victims were approached by three juveniles, one who brandished a handgun and demanded cell phones, wallets and cash.

-A business in Liberty Square, in the 2300 block of Ocala Ave., was robbed at gunpoint on Oct. 18 at 10:30 p.m.
