Anne Arundel County police have charged a Glen Burnie man with the possession and distribution of child pornography, the department announced Friday.

In mid-May, the Anne Arundel County Child Abuse Unit started an investigation into a specific account that was associated with uploading child pornographic images to a website after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, a nonprofit organization that aims to find missing children, reduce child sexual exploitation and prevent child victimization, police said.

On June 8, Anne Arundel detectives served a search warrant on Rosen’s residence in the 1000 block of Big Baer Drive. Multiple digital devices were taken into evidence to be analyzed, police said. After the investigation was completed, 30 images and videos of child sexual abuse material were found on the devices, according to the release.

An arrest warrant was issued Wednesday, and Rosen was taken into custody the same day without incident, police said. No attorney was listed for him and no further information was available in online court records.
