Man was assaulted on B&A Trail in Glen Burnie, Anne Arundel police say

A man walking along the B&A Trail in Glen Burnie was jumped by a group of people early Wednesday morning, Anne Arundel County police said.

The man was walking on the trail after midnight and near the Harundale Plaza when four assailants allegedly assaulted him, police said.

The assailants apparently demanded money, pushed the man to the ground and kicked him as they rummaged through his pockets, said Marc Limansky, police department spokesman.

After the man told the assailants he had no money, Limansky said they ran off.

Officers responded to the area of the trail between Aquahart Road and Kintop Road around 12:30 a.m., according to police.

Police said officers canvassed the area but couldn’t find any of the assailants.
