A Pasadena woman has been arrested after a wrong-way crash involving three vehicles early Saturday morning on Interstate 97, Maryland State Police said.

Police said officers were called at 12:58 a.m. to Interstate 97 southbound and New Cut Road, where a 2014 Volkswagon Jetta driving the wrong way crashed head-on with a 2019 Ford Fiesta. The Volkswagon was then struck by a black 2001 Jeep.

The driver of the Volkswagen, Londin Poling, 26, of Pasadena, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and other traffic-related charges, police said.

The driver of the Ford Fiesta was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center with minor injuries.

Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration workers responded to the scene to assist with lane closures. State troopers from the Glen Burnie Barrack are investigating the crash, police said.
