Baltimore police are investigating a non-fatal shooting and an aggravated assault that occurred early Saturday morning downtown.
Officers were called at 1:58 a.m. to the 400 block of W. Fayette Street where a man was suffering from a gunshot wound to his arm. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Police believe the shooting is related to a prior dispute between the victim and the unknown suspect.
Central District are investigating the shooting. Any witnesses are asked to call police 410-396-2240.
Police are also investigating an aggravated assault that occurred about an hour earlier, nearby, in the 400 block of N. Eutaw Street.
Police said the suspect and got into a dispute and opened fire on the victim with a handgun.
The victim was not injured and the suspect was later apprehended by officers.
