As of 9 a.m. Thursday, traffic was slow on I-95 northbound near Route 100, due to an accident.
Accidents were slowing traffic on Route 295 northbound near I-895 in Baltimore City, and Philadelphia Road near Hospital Drive in Rosedale.
A vehicle fire was slowing traffic on I-70 eastbound near Route 97 near West Friendship.
Disabled vehicles were slowing traffic on the outer loop of I-695 near York Road in Baltimore County and on the inner loop of I-695 near Route 140 in Baltimore County.
Some streets around the Washington Monument in Baltimore City will be closed today in preparation for the Baltimore Book Festival this weekend. All will reopen by late Monday. Here is the schedule:
Now closed: Mount Vernon Place (Monument Street) from St. Paul Street to Cathedral Street.
Closing at 9 a.m. Thursday: Charles Street from Centre Street to Madison Street.
Closing at 6 p.m. Thursday: Charles Street from Madison Street to Read Street and Madison Street from St. Paul Street to Cathedral Street.
Monument Street is closed between Wolfe Street and Patterson Park Avenue in East Baltimore, due to sinkhole repairs. Maryland Transit Administration bus 35 has been diverted.
Until further notice, the No. 14 bus stop located northbound on Crain Highway at Furnace Branch Road has been temporarily relocated due to construction.
There are no major delays reported on area transit systems.
