Tuesday forecast: Cloudy, high near 51

The National Weather Service is calling for Tuesday to be cloudy in the Baltimore area, with a high near 51 and south winds between 5 and 14 miles per hour, gusting as high as 25 miles per hour.

A small craft advisory is in effect from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday for the Maryland Chesapeake Bay and the tidal Potomac River. A small craft advisory is in effect Tuesday night for the main channel of the Chesapeake Bay, including all eastern inlets and the mouth of the Potomac River.

Tuesday night is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a low around 40 and southwest winds between 8 and 10 miles per hour.

Wednesday is expected to be partly sunny, with a high near 62 and west winds between 7 and 14 miles per hour, gusting as high as 25 miles per hour.

Wednesday night is expected to be partly cloudy, with a low around 40 and west winds between 3 and 8 miles per hour. There is a 30 percent chance of showers.
