Forecast: Morning fog then sun, high near 53

The National Weather Service is calling for Friday to be foggy in the morning and then sunny in the Baltimore area, with a high near 53 and northwest winds between 7 and 13 miles per hour.

Motorists are urged to be aware of areas of patchy, dense fog.

A small craft advisory is in effect Friday for the Maryland Chesapeake Bay and the tidal Potomac River.

Friday night is expected to be mostly clear, with a low around 37 and west winds between 6 and 11 miles per hour.

Saturday is expected to be cloudy, with a high near 51 and southwest winds between 6 and 13 miles per hour.

Saturday night is expected to be cloudy, with a low around 37 and north winds around 8 miles per hour. The chance of rain is 50 percent.
