As of 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, traffic was slow on the inner loop of I-695 near Washington Boulevard, due to an accident.

Accidents were slowing traffic on Route 32 eastbound near Frederick Road in Howard County, Joppa Road and Fairmount Avenue in Baltimore County, Route 295 and Route 198 in Anne Arundel County, and Pulaski Highway and 66th Street in Baltimore County.

Downed wires were blocking traffic at Route 140 and Straw Hat Road in Baltimore County.

There were no major delays reported on area transit systems.
