Tuesday forecast: Mostly sunny, high near 62

The National Weather Service is calling for Tuesday to be mostly sunny in the Baltimore area, with a high near 62 and southwest winds around 5 to 11 miles per hour.

A small craft advisory is in effect Tuesday and Tuesday night for the lower tidal Potomac River and the Maryland Chesapeake Bay south of Sandy Point.

Tuesday night is expected to be cloudy, with a low around 41 and southwest winds around 9 miles per hour.

Wednesday is expected to be partly sunny, with a high near 63 and west winds between 7 and 13 miles per hour. There is a 30 percent chance of showers, mainly between noon and 3 p.m.

Wednesday night is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a low around 42 and northwest winds around 6 miles per hour. There is a 30 percent chance of rain after midnight.
