A Christmas day shooting in Oxon Hill left a 23-year-old man dead, Prince George's County police said.

Police said Quintin Tyrone Perry Jr., of the 3600 block of Sixth Street in Northeast Washington was slain at the intersection of Southview Drive and Southview Court, just next to the District line.

Perry was transported to a local hospital and pronounced dead. Police have not made any arrests and said they are investigating a motive.
