Driver of stolen car loses control, rams taxi cab in Towson

A stolen car, being pursued by Baltimore County police, spun out of control Thursday evening in Towson and slammed into a Jimmy's taxi cab carrying three elderly women passengers.

At least one passenger in the cab was taken to St. Joseph Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.

The incident occurred on northbound York Road near Chesapeake Avenue at about 6 p.m., police said.

After the crash, several occupants of the stolen Lexus fled the scene but were apprehended, according to police. Two remain in custody, police said.
