The National Weather Service is calling for Thursday to be sunny in the Baltimore area, with a high near 46 degrees and west winds of 7 to 14 miles per hour.

A small craft advisory is in effect Thursday for the Maryland Chesapeake Bay and the tidal Potomac River.

Thursday night is expected to be mostly clear, with a low around 35 and west winds up to 5 miles per hour.

Friday is expected to be mostly sunny, with a high near 52 degrees and south winds of 3 to 7 miles per hour.

Friday night is expected to be partly cloudy, with a low around 37 and winds becoming northwesterly between 5 and 8 miles per hour.
