Food, water to be distributed in Ellicott City

Residents through the region who lack power can pick up food and water in Ellicott City while supplies last, according to federal, state and Howard County officials.

Anyone whose electrical service has not been restored will be able to pick up two ready to eat meals known as MREs and three liters of water per family member starting at 9 a.m. at the Dorsey building, 9250 Bendix Road.

Distribution will continue until supplies run out or 6 p.m., according to a news release.
