Police identify man, 52, fatally shot in N.W. Baltimore

Baltimore Police have released the identity of a 52-year-old man who died after a double shooting in Northwest Baltimore Monday night.

An officer found Anthony Carr, who lived in the 2900 block of Edgecombe Circle South, sitting on the steps of his home at 11:25 p.m. with gunshot wounds to his leg and torso, police said.

He died at 11:40 p.m., police said. No further information was available.

The second victim was also taken to Sinai Hospital and was initially reported in critical condition. Police did not have an update on the victim's status.
