Format: 72 holes, stroke play. Field cut after 36 holes to top 60 and ties, plus anyone else within 10 strokes of the lead.

Playoff (if necessary): 18 holes to be played Monday, continued in sudden death if still tied.

Defending champion: Graeme McDowell (71-68-71-74–284 at Pebble Beach GL), one stroke ahead of France's Gregory Havret.
