An article published in the Feb. 19 Howard section incorrectly described the services provided by Neighbor Ride. The organization is a volunteer program that serves all seniors who need transportation.

An article in the March 6 Howard section on acceptance of transgender people by police and schools contained an incorrect statistic. According to the National Coalition of Anti-Violence Programs, transgender people account for 40 percent of the victims of police-initiated violence in the LGBT community.
