Snow expected late Monday night into Tuesday morning

Although Baltimore and its surrounding counties saw little more than an inch from Saturday morning's dusting, the National Weather Service said the next wintry weather could come Tuesday.

The forecasting models are examining a storm forecast to develop over the Gulf states. It could move to the northeast, while another disturbance over the Plains states moves east. Snow is expected to begin late Monday and continue overnight Tuesday, possibly affecting Tuesday morning's rush hour traffic, according to a meteorologist with the weather service.

No accumulation estimates have been made for Tuesday.

Sunday's forecast shows a high of 32 with west winds between 15 and 20 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph. Monday's outlook is mostly sunny, with a high near 33.
