Two men were shot around 1:35 a.m. Monday in the Cedmont neighborhood in northeast Baltimore and taken to an area hospital for treatment, police said.

Police had few details on the incident. Detective Jeremy Silbert said one man was shot in the leg and the other was shot in the side in the 4200 block of Belmar Ave., near Belmar Park. The men were taken to Good Samaritan Hospital, where police were called, Silbert said.
