Baltimore City police said they are investigating the fatal shooting of a 35-year-old woman who was found dead in a vehicle in the 100 block of West 22nd St. early Saturday.

The victim, Yolanda Howard, was pronounced dead on the scene with a gunshot wound to the head about 4 a.m., said Detective Kevin Brown, a police spokesman.

Police had no suspects. Officials had no further information on Howard and could not say how long she had been in the vehicle.
