Man in serious condition after overnight shooting

A 33-year-old man remains in serious condition after being shot in the back and arm Saturday morning, according to police.

Police responded to the 300 block of East North Avenue at around 2:55 a.m., where they found the man unresponsive and suffering from gunshot wounds, according to Detective Donny Moses, spokesman for the Baltimore Police Department.

The man was transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he was immediately taken into surgery, Moses said.

Police do not have a motive or suspect in the case, and the investigation is ongoing, Moses said.
