Three men suspected in a shooting Saturday night outside the World Trade Center at the Inner Harbor were arrested after exchanging gunfire with police, a department spokesman said.
The suspects got into an argument with the victim and another person, left briefly and then returned, at which point gunfire ensued, said department spokesman Anthony Guglielmi. The victim was hit in the left hand and taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was reported to be stable. No other information about his condition was immediately available.
Police then tracked the suspects to a bus, where gunfire broke out before officers arrested them. No one was injured in the second exchange of gunfire, Guglielmi said.
Police, who recovered an illegal gun after the shooting, have not yet identified the suspects or shooting victim.
