With clear skies, this evening might be a good time to get a look at a fine celestial show, low in the west just after sunset. The sun sets in Baltimore at 7:13 p.m. Step outside about 20 minutes later, find a spot with a good view of the western horizon. Look for a slim crescent moon, just three days past new. Directly below it you should find a glimmering "star." That's Venus, only recently returned to the evening sky. It will be higher each night through May, then drop back into the sunset this fall.
