Baltimore police executing a search warrant seized a semiautomatic rifle and arrested a felon who was using a valid driver's license with a fake name, police said.

The Police Department's computer crimes division, investigating child pornography, conducted the search about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at a home in the 4900 block of Greencrest Road in the Frankford neighborhood, police said.

Inside, officers recovered a Hi-Point 9 mm rifle and "various digital media," police said.

Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said child pornography was not recovered. The investigation is continuing.

David Thomas Prymerman, 39, was arrested, police said. He initially gave police a valid Maryland driver's license in the name of David Edward Coursey, with a birth date indicating that he was 30 years old, police said. Guglielmi said someone in the home told police that he was using a fake identity. Guglielmi said police are investigating how the license was obtained.

A check of electronic court records shows that Prymerman pleaded guilty in 1992 in Baltimore County District Court to concealing a deadly weapon. Someone with the name David Edward Coursey and the same birth date displayed on Prymerman's ID was charged in 2001 with having an assault pistol, pleading guilty and received unsupervised probation before judgment.
