Sure, it's a bit cheesy to recommend "Cuvee Les Amours" in time for Valentine's Day, but you've got to grab every edge you can in the game of love. There'd be nothing seductive about the name on the bottle if the wine on the inside were subpar. But this full-bodied, mature white from one of Alsace's top producers is alive with flavors of spices, lemon, minerals, peach and apricot. It's dry, but its abundant fruit and smooth texture give the impression of sweetness - a delightful paradox.
