Auditions
Red Branch Theatre Company will hold auditions for its forthcoming season from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Feb. 8 at the Drama Learning Center, 9130-I Red Branch Road in Columbia. Audition requirements are one dramatic or comic monologue between 30 seconds to one minute in length and 16-18 bars of any song (bring sheet music).

Youth program
Leadership Howard County is recruiting high school sophomores for next year's leadership class and will host two information sessions from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday and Feb. 11 at the Faulkner Ridge Center, 10598 Marble Faun Lane in Columbia. Application deadline is March 12.

Vendors wanted
Vendors and exhibitors are wanted for Howard County's GreenFest, scheduled for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 17 at Howard Community College's Burrill Galleria, 10901 Little Patuxent Parkway in Columbia.
Each space includes a 5-foot table and two chairs. Cost for nonprofits is $25 per space, $35 per space for others. Preference will be given to businesses and organizations that promote environmentally friendly goods and services.

Parenting workshops
The Howard County Office of Children's Services will present a series of workshops for parents and guardians raising children.
Participants may take one class or the entire series of six, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays beginning Feb. 22 and continuing through March 29 at 3300 N. Ridge Road, Suite 380 in Ellicott City. Cost is $5 per class.
