DiBattista and her husband David Mergardt. Dear grandmother of Flynn and Clare Nicholls and Brian MacCarron. Mrs. DiBattista was a civilian employee (stenographer) in General Eisenhower's Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Forces offices in London, England during WWII. She sustained minor wounds from flying glass propelled by concussion of a German V2 rocket.
