Police reports in Baltimore city and county:

Central Baltimore

Arrests : After Officers Frank Schneider and Jimmy Shetterly stopped a Ford Crown Victoria in the 600 block of Mosher St. about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday for a cracked windshield, they seized a loaded handgun from a male passenger and also seized a gas mask normally used when handling powdered drugs that contained suspected heroin residue. Also seized was $3,700 and paperwork from an Anne Arundel County motel. Later, police entered the motel room and seized an additional $11,700. Arrested and charged ith drug and weapon violations was the driver, Stephanie Olivia Edmonds, 24, of the 6800 block of Townbrook Drive in Woodlawn. Charged with a handgun violation, assaulting the officeres and resisting arrest was Travis Q. Gaines, 29, of the 300 block of Fagley St. in East Baltimore. A second woman, Denise Hargrove, 40, of the 3300 block of Avondale Road in Pimlico was charged with a handgun violation.

Baltimore Co. -- Towson

Robbery try : A man, 36, was walking in the 500 block of York Road about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday when a man armed with a knife demanded his money. The man fled when the victim pulled out his own knife.

Baltimore Co. -- Pikesville

Robbery : A gunman passed a holdup note to an employee at the customer service desk at Giant in the 3700 block of Old Court Road about 5:20 p.m. Tuesday and fled with an undisclosed sum of money.
