An article about taxes on short sales in Thursday's editions noted that a home sale handled by Mike Davis of Champion Realty had yet to be recorded. It was being held up because Anne Arundel County required a financial-hardship letter from the seller, which Champion Realty says is a violation of the seller's privacy.

A headline on Page 1A in some Thursday editions contained typographical errors and should have read "Rawlings-Blake says her bill will seek to heighten 'public trust.' "

An article in Thursday's editions misstated the manner in which Dana P. Moore joined the city's ethics board. Moore was appointed by former Mayor Martin O'Malley, and was later designated the board chairwoman by Mayor Sheila Dixon.

The Baltimore Sun regrets the errors.
