On January 7, 2010 CAROL LEE NESER, an image recovery specialist at Baltimore-Washington Medical Center died Thursday at Howard County General Hospital in her sleep. She was a 23 year cancer survivor. She was 61. The Columbia MD resident took pride in her beginning the Image Recovery Center at BWMC where she helped patients deal with appearance changes that result from cancer treatments by providing services and products that relieved side effects. When people would come to see her, they would be at their most vulnerable points in life. In addition to her image recovery skills, Carol shared her own experience to comfort others. A native of Mt Pleasant PA, her family moved to Catonsville MD in 1958. She graduated from Seton high school in 1966. She worked at Westinghouse, Rouse Co., and later at Fleetpro Inc. She became certified as a cosmetologist and worked at Cavallaro & Co in Columbia before joining the BWMC staff. Her father, Albert T. Farcosky Mt Pleasant PA died in 1995. She is survived by mother Dorothy E. Farcosky Catonsville MD five siblings Thomas A. Farcosky Severna Park MD, Gloria M. Larkin Elkridge MD, Allan F. Farcosky Kyle TX, John E. Farcosky Elkridge MD, Laura Green Harrisburg PA, seven nephews and nieces Matthew T. Farcosky Baltimore MD, John T. (J.T.) Farcosky Baltimore MD, Joshua G. Davis Harrisburg PA, James A. Farcosky Woodbine MD, Andrew M. Farcosky Austin TX, Johnathon A. Green Harrisburg PA, Elizabeth M. Green Harrisburg PA. A memorial mass will be held at Our Lady of the Angels at Charlestown, 707 Maiden Choice Lane at 11 A.M. Saturday Jan 16th followed by a visitation 2 to 4 P.M. and remembrance service at 4 P.M. at Sterling-Ashton-Schwab-Witzke Funeral home, 1630 Edmondson Avenue, Catonsville, MD.
