Daniel Muir and Colin Cloherty both grew up in Maryland. But that doesn't mean that the Indianapolis Colts teammates won't do their best to knock the Ravens out of the AFC playoffs when the two teams meet in a divisional game at Lucas Oil Stadium tonight.

"It's good because I've got people at home that are Ravens fans," said Muir, a starting defensive tackle who grew up in Riverdale, attended Parkdale High Schooland still lives in Lanham. "Some people are rooting for me. So it's exciting."

Said Cloherty, a rookie tight end who was born in Bethesda and went to Gonzaga College High School in Washington: "I wasn't a Ravens fan growing up. I was a Redskins fan. But I've got plenty of Ravens fans as friends who are sending me text messages and calling me this week, telling me, 'Tell Peyton to watch out for Ed Reed,' and stuff like that."

Cloherty said he has little affection for the Ravens after he and his friends bore the brunt of much trash-talking at a Ravens-Redskins scrimmage a few years ago.

"The Ravens fans were all over us because the Redskins were losing," he said. "I remember being like, 'Man, I can't wait to get them back.' Maybe this is my chance. I don't know. We'll see."

Muir said he did not have a favorite team, opting to root for certain players like former Minnesota Viking John Randle. Informed that an Indianapolis win would likely break a lot of hearts in his home state, Muir replied, "Look to be heartbroken."
