WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF? The 2008 Center Stage production of Edward Albee's biting, darkly witty classic might have raised your interest in the 1966 film version starring Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. So if you haven't rented it from Netflix yet, the Charles Theatre, 1711 N. Charles St., screens Mike Nichols' film as this week's revival at 9 p.m. Tickets are $8. FISHING EXPO AND BOAT SHOW: It might be cold outside, but it's never too soon to resume daydreaming about goin' fishin'. This expo includes fishing tackle, boats (45,000 square feet's worth), motors, trailers and marine accessories. There will also be a seminar series conducted by nationally known fishermen, fishing guides and guest speakers. The event takes place at Maryland State Fairgrounds, 2200 York Road, through Sunday. Hours are noon to 8 p.m. today and Friday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $8 for adults, $4 for children 10 to 14 and free for children younger than 10. POE CABARET: Tony Tsendeas plays Edgar Allan Poe and some of his classic characters in a cabaret honoring Poe's birthday at Germano's Trattoria, 300 S. High St., from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. for dining. There is a $10 cover for cabaret performances and a $15 food or drink minimum. Reservations are suggested. 3 FOR $33: The Wine Market, 921 E. Fort Ave., offers a new three-course deal Tuesdays through Thursdays. For $33, diners get an appetizer, including cornmeal fried oysters or wild sockeye salmon, an entree such as pan-seared spiced sea scallops or a lobster bowl, and either malted chocolate pave or hazelnut-raspberry melba tarte for dessert.
