NO. 6 GATORS KNOCK OFF NO. 2 REDS

Seton Keough's Achiri Ade scored a game-high 13 points and the No. 6 Gators upset No. 2 Roland Park, 43-31, Friday.

This marks the second loss this week for the Reds, who fell to No. 1 Archbishop Spalding, 38-26, on Wednesday.

Seton Keough (7-4) built a seven-point lead at halftime. The Reds' Daisy Alaeze was held to eight points.

No. 5 Digital Harbor 63, Dunbar 43: : After trailing by two at the half, the Rams (5-2) outscored the Poets, 30-12, in the third quarter. Digital Harbor's leading scorers were Asia Logan (14), Alexus Harrison (13) and Ke-Shara Floyd (12).

Lauren Carter led the Poets (12-2) with 10 points and Beth Kelly added eight.

No. 8 Meade 72, Northeast 46: : The host Mustangs (10-0) were led by a trio of double-digit scorers: Imani Bailey (21), Nicole Dixon (21) and Alissa Chambliss (19).

No. 10 Arundel 68, Annapolis 33: : Sheronne Vails scored 19 points and Ariel Ross added 15 as the visiting Wildcats (7-2) cruised past the Panthers. Kamyiah Surgeon led Annapolis with 13.

Boys basketball

No. 1 Calvert Hall 66, Archbishop Spalding 26: : Jonathan Graham had a triple-double (16 points, 18 rebounds, 10 blocks) to power the Cardinals (12-2) past the visiting Cavaliers.

Damion Lee led Calvert Hall with 19 points.

No. 2 St. Frances 63, Cardinal Gibbons 48: : Dante Holmes had a game-high 16 points to lead the host Panthers (10-5) past the Crusaders.

St. Frances had four scorers in double digits and led 38-15 at the half. Gibbons' Dylon Cormier was held to 10 points.

No. 3 Mount St. Joseph 65, Maret (D.C.) 38: : Eric Atkins had 21 points and the Gaels (15-2) used a pressure defense to shut down the host Frogs.

No. 4 Lake Clifton 64, Mervo 25: : Josh Selby had a game-high 27 and Durand Johnson had a double-double (25 points and 15 rebounds) as the visting Lakers (4-3) beat the Mustangs.

No. 7 Old Mill 83, Chesapeake-AA 51: : Chris Day had 17 points and Marquel Pratt had a triple-double (14 points,10 assists, 11 rebounds) for the host Patriots (7-2).

No. 9 Edmondson 94, Northwestern 50: : Kavon Pyatt and Stanton Kidd each scored 21 points to power the host Redskins (8-0) past the Wildcats. Edmondson trailed 13-12 after the first quarter before taking a 41-25 lead at the half.

No. 11 Digital Harbor 58, No. 12 Dunbar 55: : The Rams' Malcom Brown converted a layup with 36 seconds left for the final score.

Justin Jackson made four free throws in the final minute of play for the host Rams (8-3). Derrell Edwards led Dunbar with 15 points. Digital Harbor's Davon Usher had a double-double (18 points, 16 rebounds.)

No. 13 Patterson 70, Walbrook 57: : Aquille Carr had a game-high 27 points to power the host Clippers (7-2) past the Warriors (4-4).

No. 15 Glenelg Country School 62, Catonsville 53: : Isaiah Miles had a game-high 18 points to lead the host Dragons (10-2).

Wrestling

No. 1 Mount St. Joseph 69, Boys' Latin 9: : The host Gaels (10-0) won all but two weight classes to beat the Lakers. Bobby Bowman (171), who pinned Dru Keyser in 1:49, has won all his dual meets by fall this season.
