On December 21, 2009, KATHRYN ANNE PADGETT; beloved daughter of Wilma Lawson and Alvin L. Padgett; loving sister of Deborah and Glenn Padgett; dear niece of Irene Simpson of Martinsville, VA, and Clara Desper of Roanoke, VA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ms. Padgett will lie in state at Oak Crest Chapel Monday 10:30 to 11 A.M., the funeral hour.
