With less than a week until Christmas, I had planned to use this space today to muse about the (fairly dim) chances for a white Christmas in Baltimore. Obviously, our chances this year have improved. Statistically, the National Weather Service says the chances for snowfall at BWI on Dec. 25 are about one in 10. The chance of having measurable snow on the ground on that date (from new snow or old) is about one in four. We may have bumped the odds this year.
