Rosedale motel fire victim dies later at burn center

Baltimore Sun

A man found in cardiac arrest inside a burning motel room early Tuesday in Rosedale died at a hospital, a Baltimore County Fire Department spokeswoman said. Firefighters were called about 3 a.m. to Duke's Motel in the 7900 block of Pulaski Highway, where they found smoke and fire in a room with a man inside. Emergency crews revived the man and took him to the burn center at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, where he died, said Elise Armacost, the Fire Department spokeswoman. Police did not release the man's name, pending notification of his family.
