NAACP celebration

The Howard County NAACP Youth Council will host a reception celebrating the 100th anniversary of the NAACP from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the Ridgelys Run Community Center, 8400 Mission Road in Jessup. The Howard County Arts Council is accepting slides and CD submissions from visual artists for a 2011 group exhibit examining the environment and related issues. Original artwork in any medium within the exhibit theme will be accepted for review.
